Life isn't black and white in Santorini

There are not many places on Earth that are as easily recognizable as Santorini. Being one of the most famous islands in the world, you can expect to be swept away by it's beauty, and trust me, you will. Situated in the middle of the Aegean Sea, this volcanic island is home to Oia, a charmingly romantic city full of old world charm. But don't forget to also visit one of the islands unique beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

Fira to Oia

If you are into scenic hikes, then you must take the hike from the town of Fira to Oia. How many other times will you get to hike on the edge of a volcano? This 6.5 mile long hike will take you about four hours, but plan on it taking a bit longer because there are many places to stop and stare in awe at the beautiful caldera cliffs speckled with bright white buildings.

It takes a lifetime for someone to discover Greece, but only an instance to fall in love with her.

Unique Oia

Situated along the cliffs of Santorini's underwater caldera, Oia is one of the most uniquely beautiful cities I have ever been to. The stark white buildings are perfectly contrasted against the deep blue ocean. Every turn you make down the winding pathways is another beautiful scene that looks straight out of a painting. Enjoying authentic Greek food on the patio of a small cafe and taking in the stunning views is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Oia.
